This policy explains what data Glimps2 Labs Ltd collects, why, and what you can do about it.
What we collect
- Account data: name, username, email, date of birth, password (hashed).
- Content you post, comments, messages, and who you follow.
- Usage data: what you view, like, save and for how long. Device type, browser, approximate location from IP.
Why
- To run the service and show you content.
- To rank your feed and recommend accounts (legal basis: contract, and consent for personalisation you can withdraw).
- To show ads and measure them (consent).
- To keep Glimps2 safe, detect spam and abuse, and comply with law (legitimate interest, legal obligation).
Your choices
Turn off personalised ads and personalised feed ordering in Settings. Download or delete your data from Settings. Contact our data protection officer at Contact.
Retention
Account data is kept while your account is active and deleted within 30 days of account deletion, except where we must keep it by law.
Sharing
We share data with hosting and analytics providers under contract, with advertisers only in aggregate, and with authorities where legally required.
